This is a rebuilt 1" master cylinder. Many people who have after market brake kits installed on their cars use this master cylinder to compensate for the added piston area that has to be accounted for. This upgrade will make your brake pedal have less play when adjusted correctly. It is a 29% percent increase in traveling brake fluid. Stock AE86 use a 13/16 master cylinder. If you are planning on getting upgraded brakes this is a recommended part for ideal performance. This master cylinder come with a built in proportion valve on the rear output. You should delete your stock inline proportion valve if you have one. You will have to really bend your lines to reach to ports on this master cylinder, some opt to extend there stock hardlines to reach. Thread diameter and pitch is the same.
