This is a remanufactured 25MM bore master cylinder. Many people who have aftermarket brake kits installed on their cars use this master cylinder to compensate for the added piston area that has to be accounted for. This upgrade will make your brake pedal have less play when adjusted correctly. It is a 14% percent increase in brake fluid. Stock 325i 318i E30 models use a 22MM master cylinder. If you are planning on getting upgraded brakes this is a recommended part for ideal performance. Note: Reservoirs and caps are not included, but the stock 325i 318i E30 reservoirs will fit perfectly.
this master cylinder will bolt on to 325i 318i E30 with no modifications needs, just bend stock hardlines a little to screw into new master cylinder.
M3 owners will need to add a T and short hardline to work with this master cylinder since it only has 1 output for the front brakes. While the M3 master cylinder has 2 front outputs. You must connect them to make only 1 hardline for front brakes.
