AE86 SR5 REAR WILWOOD 4 PISTON BRAKE UPGRADE KIT fits 15" wheels with emergency brake function
The wait is over, we now offer a rear brake upgrade for AE86 SR5 with integrated emergency brake funtion!
This kit includes:
1. WILWOOD 4 piston calipers (aluminum calipers with integrated e-brake system)
2. C.N.C. Dimmpled, slotted and vented rotors with Zink plating to prevent rusting.
3. DOT approved custom fabricated steel braided brake lines.
4. Brake pads Wilwood BP10 material
5. All necessary hardware
6. Custom fabricated T6061 aluminum brackets
As you can see this is a complete kit. There are no other parts needed to complete the easy installation. This is a big brake kit for any Toyota corolla ae86 SR5 rear. The calipers are 4 piston Wilwood calipers, which are a big increase in piston size as opposed to the single-piston caliper that originally came on your car. Replacing the caliper is easy, you can get them at various parts stores. The 10 inch diameter Dimmpled, slotted and vented rotors are professionally built with CNC machines, and zinc plated to prevent rusting. These rotors have diamond slots. This eliminates dust build up at the end of the slot and helps dissipate gasses evenly throughout the rotor. All rotors are drilled to fit four lug ae86 gts bolt pattern (which is 4x4.5) (5 lug available per request). The steel braided brake lines are custom made to fit this brake kit for easy installation. They are also government DOT approved just like the stock brake lines that come on new cars from the factory today. So you can believe they will not have any safety problems. They are also steel braided with a layer of clear lamination to prevent expansion of the line under pressure. The Wilwood BP10 material brake pads are made for aggressive street and some tracking driving. They are very quiet and smooth. This brake kit will make your 240sx stop much faster after it is installed.
NOTE: Requires minimum 15-inch wheels. 14 inch wheels will fit if you cut off the e-brake arms off the top of the caliper. This kit does come with e-brake assembly. This kit does not come with any e-brake cables that hook up to the caliper. you will need to modify and make your stock cables to work with these calipers, or buy custom cables. We are happy to make custom cables for you, contact us for details. The E-brake function is only for parking and street use. It will not lock your rear wheels while driving, it is not good for drifting. This E-brake is just for parking the car on hills and such.
the GTS model is different from the SR5 rear end. This kit only fits the SR5 model.
